What we do

We are a Swiss couple combining skills in carpentry, interior remodelling, finance, photography, nursing, and care work.

Our mission is to travel across the globe offering practical help to communities, animal shelters, farms, campsites, and individuals in need.

In exchange, we seek accommodation (either private, shared, or through our own rooftop tent), meals, and a small contribution toward travel costs.

Why we left Switzerland

We left Switzerland not to escape, but to explore — a different rhythm of life, one that feels more connected, intentional, and free.

What began as a move became a mindset: slow travel, meaningful work, real connections, and learning through doing. Without a fixed plan, we’re finding our way by building, sharing, and creating alongside the people we meet.

It’s not always easy — we miss home, face challenges, and question ourselves often. But the trade-off is growth, adventure, and a deep sense of purpose.

This is our journey — one step, one story, one project at a time.

Assiria and Aaron quit their flat, their careers, packed the most important things into their car and are travelling the globe to meet new people, lend a helping hand where needed and get back to the important things in life.
