Why We Do This

What began as slow travel and small community projects slowly revealed something deeper.

Everywhere we went, as well as back home in Switzerland, we saw the same need — for care, restoration, and people willing to show up and do the work. Not just for individuals, but for ecosystems, landscapes, and future generations.

We believe meaningful change happens when people come together on the ground — building, cleaning, learning, and restoring nature side by side.

Our long-term vision

Over the next five years, our goal is to complete multiple large-scale nature rehabilitation projects across different regions, working alongside local communities, scientists, and established environmental foundations.

While our first initiatives are community-based and small in scale, our long-term vision is to grow The Kindfolk Collective into a registered charity focused on practical, hands-on environmental work worldwide.

Assiria and Aaron left their flat and former careers behind to pursue a life rooted in purpose, community, and care for nature. Through travel, they organise and support hands-on environmental projects, working alongside local communities to create meaningful, lasting impact.
